Cattail Dwarf

If you like Cattails but are afraid of the standard variety, then consider this species as it stays shorter than its larger cousin, growing to only about 2-4' tall. It is better behaved than the larger version. Cattails require full sun to partial sun for best results. The size of this plant makes it ideal for container gardens or any size pond. The Catkin bloom is approximately one inch long and has a white furry appearance. The bloom appears during the summer months. In the middle of summer the Dwarf Cattail will produce slightly elongated, marble sized tails that will add to any bog, pond or other setting.
